Figueras is the second largest town in north-east Spain. It’s considered to have some of Europe\u2019s best-preserved examples of mediaeval and Gothic architecture with many historical monuments which deserve a visit: museums, monuments churches \u2026<\/span>
\nClose to the French coastline, Figueras attracts many day-trippers.<\/span><\/p>\n

This town is worth a visit in particular for its world-renowned museum. Dali Museum at the centre of Figueras which was Dali\u2019s birthplace. Barcelona is a dynamic and historic city. Which is always interesting to visit and discover only 2 hours\u2019 drive from the campsite, and easy to visit for a day!<\/span><\/p>\n

Barcelona offers visitors a multitude of things to see and do \u2026 museums, gardens, historic monuments and of course the famous art-nouveau houses designed by the great Antoni Gaud\u00ec. Standard tours, or unusual excursions, there\u2019s something for everyone.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can’t go to Barcelona without visiting the famous Sagrada Familia, the city\u2019s identifying symbol and cultural heritage designed by Gaud\u00ec. Construction began in 1882 and it is hoped that it will be completed in 2026 to commemorate the centenary of the artist’s death. Guided tours are allowed, although it is still under construction. You will notice that the interior of the basilica is just as beautiful and impressive as its exterior.
